The Postert Projekt GT-1 wide body version is made from high-grade plastics and can be alternatively mounted directly at Postert design & wheels or in any body shop.
The GT-1 front apron doesn't only have a striking design, it also reduces the aerodynamic lift on the front axle. In addition it improves the fresh air supply for coolers and front brakes with its large air intakes.
The rear brakes get additional cooling via air ducts on the new Postert GT-1 side skirts. The side sills also make a slipstream connection between the GT-1 fender flarings on front and rear axle which make the Astra Coupe eleven centimeters broader.
Matching the wheel arch extensions Postert developed special versions of the two-piece Postert Race light alloy wheel. After the conversion 8.5Jx18 wheels with 245/35 ZR 18 can be driven on the front axle. On the rear there is even room for 9.5J18 wheels which are also shod with 245/35 ZR 18 tyres.
Like the front spoiler the Postert GT-1 rear apron is designed to harmonically integrate into the wide body. It also has two cut-outs for the Postert stainless steel sports exhaust system with one 70 x 140 mm. exhaust tip each left and right.
In addition, Postert rouds out the racing look with a ner GT-1 rear wing, headlight covers and a one-blade wiper.
To ensure thet alsothe handling copes with the racing look, Postert furnishes the Astra Coupe with a threaded suspension. The sport chassis makes a lowering between 35 and 75 mm. possible and also allows an individual tuning of the damping.
On the engine compartment the Postert Carbon-made air filter box and a polished aluminium-made front strut brace, which stabilizes the nose of the car, hit in the eye.
Postert also offers a high performance blake system of the Opel. the race track approved system for front and rear axle consistes of 4-pot aluminium fixed calipers, vented brake discs with 322 mm. in diameter and stainless steel covered blake linings.
